    • Lisa Maclean

      Since 2006 Lisa has been working across the Highlands and Islands as a business consultant, following a varied career in the hospitality and tourism sector. Lisa, originally from Northern Ireland moved to Edinburgh to study Hospitality and Tourism Management. After some time spent working in various prestigious hotels across the UK Lisa decided to take up post as a Catering Manager at Edinburgh University and then Edinburgh Zoo. Lisa and her husband, (who was born and raised in the Outer Hebrides), moved "home" in 2004. She is no stranger to many of the businesses in the tourism sector and is passionate about business excellence; believing there is always room for improvement. Lisa is an experienced project manager and trainer and firmly believes Broadband is a way of bringing the world to businesses' fingertips, giving them the opportunity to transform the way they operate and in turn perhaps changing some lives along the way!

    • Robert Macleod

      Robert was born and brought up near Oban in Argyll. After an 8 year career in the RAF specialising in Radar and Electronics he moved to the Outer Hebrides in 1992 and lives in Harris with his wife and daughter. Since leaving the RAF he has undertaken a number of roles in a wide variety of sectors; retail, community arts development and latterly in IT as a network administrator, business systems manager and consultant. Robert has been consulting in IT and Project Management since 2004 primarily in the aquaculture sector. With over 10 years experience in IT, he is also PRINCE2 and ITIL qualified and studying for an ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis.

    • Gillies Mackenzie

      Native to the Isle of Lewis, Gillies has lived all his life in Lewis, other than when moving to Glasgow for four years in 1997 to study for a Degree in Computing. Since graduating, Gillies has worked predominantly in the private sector, firstly for a London based IT company with offices in Stornoway called Criticall, where he worked as a Software Developer developing Emergency Notification software and delivering training on the use of the software to some of the biggest companies in Europe, leaving him working and delivering training in locations all over the British Isles. In 2004, Gillies went self-employed as a Web Developer and IT Consultant, working on various projects both with a number of local businesses, as well as businesses throughout the UK in numerous different sectors, helping them to both improve & grow through generation of income, as well as improving their day to day business operations. Gillies has been contracted a number of times to work on projects outside of the UK, mainly carrying out projects for businesses and organisations around the New York City area, one of which saw him take on a leading role in the development of web based E-commerce and Credit tools for the large financial services company Citi Group. In his spare time Gillies is enjoying the outdoors all year round whatever the weather, as an avid fisherman, and photographer.

    • Anne-marie MacRitchie

      Anne-marie was born and brought up in Stornoway. On leaving school she studied Fashion and Design in Glasgow. On completing her studies there she helped set up and run a Design and Dressmaking business in Stornoway. Moving on from there Anne-marie went on to study Business Admin, and then diverged in Beauty Therapy while managing a local hair and beauty salon. Anne-marie left the island in 2000 to set up home with her partner in Glasgow where she continued to work in health and beauty until she became a mum in 2003. After taking some time out she returned to work in the finance and admin field, working for GU Heritage Ltd in Glasgow University, and a well established Clydebank engineering company. Since moving home at the end of 2008 she has continued to work in finance and administration for both a local accountancy firm and CNE-Siar.
